Acceptable use & policies
useasan is built for legitimate, consent-based outbound calling. These are the ground rules that keep the platform — and your numbers — in good standing.
This is a plain-language summary. Your binding terms are the full Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service; where they differ, those control.
What's expected
- Call with consent or a legitimate relationship. Don't call people who haven't agreed to hear from you where consent is required.
- Honor opt-outs. Anyone who asks not to be called goes on your Do-Not-Call list and stays there unless you have documented consent (see Do-Not-Call & consent).
- Respect calling hours. useasan enforces 8 AM–9 PM local; don't try to work around it.
- Use accurate caller-ID. Dial only from numbers you're authorized to use.
- Comply with applicable telemarketing and Do-Not-Call law in the regions you call.
Not allowed
- Fraud, scams, impersonation, or deceptive caller-ID.
- Harassment, threats, or repeated unwanted calls to the same person.
- Deliberately evading the platform's safety controls.
Accounts that generate high complaint rates, abandoned-call patterns, or carrier blocks may be reviewed or suspended — both to protect recipients and to keep the shared calling infrastructure healthy for everyone.
